The Institute is committed to providing factual, objective and accurate information that can be understood by non-experts and does not mislead the public.
We can provide a quick and appropriate response to enquiries, and have a dedicated panel of Strategic Advisors who are media trained.
We aim to provide comment on matters of interest to do with the complete materials cycle, engineering and mining communities. We connect journalists to professionals who are experts in their field and promote IOM3 activities throughout the global media.
The Technology Communities Board
The IOM3 Technology Communities Board (TCB) seeks to raise the profile and promote the Institute to a wider audience. It captures the combined expertise of the membership base from across the materials cycle to better inform public debate on issues and address societal challenges.
The TCB will when appropriate respond to ‘hot topics’ with an important materials technology content and prepares press releases as well as interviews with IOM3 experts for national television and radio and print.
