The Packaging Clinic has always been a successful part of the IOM3 stand at Packaging Innovations at the NEC and Olympia.
Over the next two months IOM3 will be holding an interactive Webinar with the opportunity to ask questions.
Packaging Experts will answer any packaging problem that you are encountering and do their best to find a solution or direct you towards a company or individual that can help solve your problem.
The Panelists will be mindful there is an audience listening so their answers will include generic solutions for the benefit of all.
How does it work?
This one-hour webinar will be broadcast via Zoom and delegate questions can be posed through the chat function. A video of the webinar will be recorded for all delegates including any material referenced.The webinar is scheduled for 2 June 2020, 13:00 BST on the IOM3 Zoom channel. All registered delegates will receive a link and instructions of how to join the webinar in advance. You will need an internet connection to take part in the webinar.

Jude is the newly appointed Chair of the Packaging Society.
Jude started as a packaging technologist at the drinks division of Mars before taking the experience of life as a client over to the world of a packaging design agency.
For almost 20 years Jude championed and led the production and creative operations at jonesknowlesrtichie as it grew from a London based packaging design agency to a global design business with offices in London, New York, Singapore and Shanghai.
Jude and her team were responsible for delivering creative packaging designs into market for a wide range of much-loved brands from global favourites to local heroes as well as launching new start-up brands.
Working closely with brands such as Budweiser, Mars, Molton Brown, McVitie’s, Dulux paints and Hippeas, she has a rich and varied experience of the packaging industry, the challenges of innovation and the needs of brand owners to respond to their consumers demands.
In 2018 she took on the role of chief operating officer at a start-up engineering agency in London with a manufacturing and project management office in Shenzhen, China. She spent a frenetic eighteen months at RPD International professionalising the business and developing the skills of a young group of entrepreneurs and engineers.
She has a BEng in Materials Science and the Institutes Diploma of Packaging Technology
Gregor founded Pharmacentric Solutions Ltd in 2017 to deliver consultancy services for the Pharma Industry specialising in device and packaging development and strategies from early concept through to commercial supply.
Prior to this Gregor was Senior Design Director at GSK working as a device and packaging specialist and has over 30 years’ experience in Pharma and Medical Device design and is a named inventor on over 40 patents and has presented and consulted widely on topics such as digital, patient centric design, sustainability and Pharma road mapping.
He has a B.Sc. in Industrial Design and a M.Sc. in Polymer Science and Engineering.
After 3 years at Smiths Medical Systems he joined the Device Development Unit at GSK R&D where he led platform developments including injectable and respiratory devices.
In 2009 Greg moved to GSK Manufacturing as Global Head of Technical Packaging and became an IOM3 Fellow in 2015.
In 2017 he authored the Technology and Innovation road map for UK Pharma on behalf of the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership.

A seasoned and accredited packaging professional and a well respected and networked member of the active packaging community with over 25 years experience in international and global branded consumer goods companies. Passionate about packaging, the circular economy and driving forward both the professional and academic activities for packaging.
Currently the Managing Director of Pack IDS, an independent packaging consultancy, specialising in packaging innovation, development and sustainability for soft and alcoholic beverages, healthy snacks and confectionary, Fine fragrances, deodorants and Luxury spirits. Pack IDS offers services to business for packaging strategic initiatives through marketing and technical development for the circular materials economy, and hands on operational solutions.
As a consultant, on offer now is the application of technical and design expertise developed in creating solutions and transforming them into operational successes through experience in senior positions in Innovation, R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing for Blue Chip organisations like P&G, Unilever, Diageo and Britvic, with several patents pending and numerous original designs.
Drawing on extensive experience with local and international markets and a track record of consistent delivery of commercially successful, award winning new products, consultancy has been an exciting and very rewarding career step allowing the freedom to focus on the important topics of circular materials development, education and packaging advocacy, and apply all this to create more value from packaging technology and design for businesses needing this type of support.
A Fellow of the IoMMM, The Packaging Society, having been a member since 1987 and Manchester University Alumni since 1990, is now an Accredited Packaging Professional with a Diploma in Packaging Technology with a commendation, an Industry award winner and a StarPack judge. A published author of blogs and periodicals, now involved with academic research and a visiting lecturer in packaging.
David Little is a qualified Print Technologist and Packaging Technologist.
He has over 30 years’ experience, covering all packaging substrates, including cartons, corrugate, flexible film laminates, rigid plastics, labels and all print and conversion processes. He is also experienced in marketing, new product development, brand management, repro and capital equipment sales. David has worked across all sectors including: Food & Drink, Pharmaceutical, IT, and Industrial.
David currently holds the following roles:

- Chair of the Irish Packaging Society.
- Board Member of The Packaging Society (UK).
- Chair of the TPS Training & Education Committee (UK)
- Head Lecturer IOM3 (Packaging).
